The load is increased due to obstruction during operation. The structure design of the reciprocating vacuum pump is that the cylinder body is at one end of the body. The cylinder body is heavier with pistons and intake and exhaust valves. If the lower support or upper hanger of the cylinder body is not considered in the basic design, the cylinder body will be suspended. State, due to the dead weight of the cylinder block will cause the deformation of the crankcase slide and the difference in concentricity between the cylinder block and the slide, so that the crosshead is blocked when reciprocating in the slide and the piston is blocked when reciprocating in the cylinder, causing the load to increase. According to the above analysis, the inspection found that the cylinder end of the vacuum pump is slightly lower than the crankcase end, the shim at the cylinder end is less, and the crosshead slide is deformed after the anchor bolts are tightened, causing the crosshead to reciprocate in the slide and the piston in the cylinder. When the load is blocked, the load increases, which is one of the reasons that cause the motor to overheat."
